At the playground, after school, 1965...
Me: Tell you what...if you promise not to give me a wedgie, I'll draw you a picture!
1st Grade bully: Of what?
Me: Whatever ya want...
Bully: Can you draw a robot?
Me: Done.
Thus began my artistic career! Growing up in Southern California, I was exposed to a lot of art through the local libraries. I spent a lot of time there, looking through as many art books as I could find,and falling in love with the art of Bob Kuhn, Salvador Dali, and countless others. That's probably why I work in so many different genres of art, it's all encompassing. Art tells us who we are, what we want to be, where we've been, where we want to go.....
I work mainly in colored pencils, although I will throw in the occasional oil, acrylic, watercolour, etc...
